This is a checklist we use before starting work on opening the property.
- AC Failover - Test a scenario where our primary cooling system fails and we move to the backup unit (within the main system). TODO → Ask OT if testing this scenario is possible.
- Fire Hose System Test - Conduct a test of the fire system. Combine this with new staff training so they can get hands-on experience using the system.
- Fire Extinguisher Check - Confirm we are within expiration date for the full year
- First Aid Kit Inspection - Check all first aid kits, reorder supplies as needed.
- Gate Inspection - Inspect gate, use the key to manually open the gate to ensure everything works okay.
- Ground Vault Inspection - Open and inspect conditions within ground vaults, combine this with rat poison / traps.
- Heating Failover - Run a test of the primary radiant heating system failing. Since the fancoils also operate on hot water, this may not be a backup system.
- Hot Water Failover - Turn off primary water system and confirm backup system is operational. Confirm posted instructions are still accurate.
- Outdoor Furniture Inspection - Check all the outdoor furniture creating tasks for needed cleaning, repairs, replacement.
- Pool Winter Cover Removal - Remove, clean, roll and store the winter cover.
- Pool Inspection - Visually inspect the pool for any damage that needs to be fixed after the winter.
- Power failure test - Cut power at source and confirm generator startup
- Internet Failover - Turn of Starlink and confirm system continues working with EOLA
- Regulatory Check - Confirm all our required registrations, insurance, permits etc are valid for the year.
- Water system inspection - Visually inspect the system creating tasks for any maintenance or repairs needed. Confirm backup supplies are on site, order any needed parts.
- Water quality test - Submit water sample for quality testing
